I always thought Vestal got better and better as she got older. She has always been remarkable, and has always reminded me of my grandmother with her faith and unmoveable faith in Christ. What a lady! It's amazing now that she's gone on with Howard, we still listen to their music in record numbers. To me, she had the most dynamic voice to ever be heard in all of gospel music!

Never be another singer like this-Loved her for years and had the priviledge to be at her home going service, which was a service. Hard to believe she has been gone 7 years. Don't you know heaven is sounding so good, can't wait to hear them again once day.
