It must make a detour through Chicago then... lol I understand it originates in the Vancouver area and terminates down in Memphis, TN. Not 100% but fairly sure...

@WSOR6604 No, the train 198/199 runs from Memphis to Prince Rupert, BC. It does not go to Vancouver. The Chicago-Vancouver Roberts Bank trains are 116/117.

@ABALLAM3 2 year old post but ok... 198/199 do not go through to Memphis. They terminate/originate in Markham Yard in Chicago. Not sure of their western terminus. I haven't seen any 198s over the past few weeks on the WC division. Not sure if they're still running or not. Been a lot of 116/X116/196 southbound and 197/199 northbound.
