Puerto Vallarta ~ Old Town & the Market

Beautiful city, Puerto Vallarta is great for walking around and with lots of shops offering more than just the typical tourist stuff, it is also a place to go shopping. Love this city and while there we saw autos with license plates from British Columbia, Alberta and even Alaska. I can imagine that it would be a great place to spend the winter months.

This was during the peregrinaciones to the church. The loud long bell ringing signifies a group entering the church,singing Guadalupana. Food vendors take over the entire zocalo. I counted 5 tamale ladies! Look at all the wonderful food.
