The imbecile is braking the law (trespassing) the management ask him not to bring a gun on the property (posted sign) . The cop has the duty to make sure he leaves the property. At lest in this state the cop has to ask the person to leave before he can arrest the imbecile for trespass. No one in his right mind would leave a person that is breaking the law, armed. Not unless the cop is as imbecilic as you are.

Remember there is a "spirit" to every law written. You guys are digging your own grave. There is soon to be a court case that will challenge this law and will set precedent. You guys are just going to make it happen sooner. Respect police officers their lives are always on the line and the are not all fanatically involved with only 1 particular amendemnt. @isl1968 Think before you type. What he did was legal. Open carry is a right and is done for self protection. The real test here is if the police department will themselves learn the law they are sworn to uphold. Private property owners can ask the person to leave. Police officers removing his gun is illegal. Asking him leave on behalf of the private property owner is not.
