Piece of Shit

My Bose 3-2-1 system just died a couple days after the Fukushima power plant disaster (I live in California). It ate a DVD and refused no matter what to give it up and was locked in a mode of reading and nothing else. I had to open the unit up to get to the manual eject (they hide it well). In there I noticed an optical prom added to the DVD unit. Any coincidence that the unit died from minor radiation? Now Bose wants $139 to fix it. Arghhhh Should be a free fix. Bad Bose.

Crutchfiled, stop selling this crap. Send it back.

This might'd been a good system years ago. Most people that I know are using blu ray now and some even interested in 3D system. I think the better choice is the Bose Cinemate.. system.

Does this Bose MAKES SUrround Sound?
BobbyBossett 2 months ago
@BobbyBossett Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. The Bose 3-2-1 systems produces a simulated surround effect with the two “Gemstone” speaker arrays and the subwoofer. For true surround sound, you would need at least 5 speakers and a subwoofer. All of the 3-2-1 systems are designed to provide a convincing surround effect with just two speakers and the subwoofer. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030
