  • Coldplay rocks! :D

  • Does it only work with music that you purchased on iTunes, or every song you have in your iTunes library?

  • @wscottwalters74 You talk like you don't deserve to listen to real music.

  • @megarunes Yeah, because you NEED to have guitars to be a "legitimate" band, right? That's so 1970s.

  • @Checkeredboy95 You mean "upload" to iCloud, and yes you will be able to have ALL of your music in the cloud. Apple is just saving you a crapload of time having to upload, say, 10,000 songs by automatically recognizing songs that are already in the iTunes store. You'll only have to upload songs that aren't in the store. This is much better than Google Music, which has no inventory of its own, and forces you to upload everything, which can literally take weeks to set up.

  • @torbmaximus You can, of course, get your own account but if that's not possible, then another option would be cordoning off your individual stuff in folders. Since I don't yet have access to iCloud, I am speculating on this as a possibility. But I'm in the same boat -- my wife has her music on her laptop, I have mine on my laptop, but we use the same Apple account. Depending on how Apple handles multiple users in a family, I may end up creating a new account and footing an extra $25/year.
