Racism (Linguistics Profiling) Caught On Tape!

This recording is a portion of a car rental reservation run a foul by linguistics profiling. Based solely on the sound of my voice, the White office manager assumed that I too was
White. Without provocation, she casually spouted her racist and disparaging opinions of Black Americans. All the while she did not
know that, in fact, I AM BLACK!

Currently, I am withholding the names of the rental company and office manager in lieu of litigation against them.

@k88098 Formally, she used "proper" improperly. In a colloquial (informal) American English context even words like "alright" (all right) are considered proper. Much of 'standard' American English is improper. Insisting on speaking improperly doesn't make our improper speech proper.

@roan180 Actually 'speaking proper' is proper English. Proper is an adjective as well. People also say 'Enter proper' 'Dress proper' and 'Be proper'. It's usually British, but some Americans speak that way.

@eatherdrive as iv asked and you have not answered what opinion did she state other than "some black people do speak proper" and thats not even opinion, so what opinion did she state, and you should be proving her statements wrong about the area she talked about but obviously you cant, you only ignore the topics with everything you type, let me learn from a black man how they are still oppressed not by their own actions, can you stat any worse than the government racism against "whites"

@pete33685 Whether some Black people "do talk proper" or not is irrelevant from her job description. Her 'opinion' was not only inaccurate, it was immaterial the transaction. The company agreed with that assessment. The situation was settled, accordingly.

she still stated on opinions, and you have not proven her statements wrong and it is true that some blacks do speak properly and the same percentage of any race, explain to me an opinion she expressed and show proof her statements were wrong, then you can prove me wrong
