Here's our latest airsoft weapon made to launch Nerf Pocket Vortex footballs. It's made to replicate a Japanese Knee Mortar like those used in WWII. Ours is scale looking and fires the Nerf using an M203 airsoft grenade. It's light weight and very easy to carry (much easier than my RPG or mortar.) The only drawback is that the M203's are pretty expensive. Use the paintball M203 round for better range with your Nerf Pocket Vortex.

  • love it, looks great and it adds something extra to games. problem is i dont know anybody that would take the hit unless you could somehow put flour in the bombs and add that sort of effect

  • @geom87 Refs watch for the "mortar" to land and kill everyone withing 15' radius.

  • Wow mental, do you use that at frog??

  • @xXCoUnTeRxStRiKeXx We have used it at Frog and will be using it again next month when we start airsofting again.

  • @xXCoUnTeRxStRiKeXx I usually just go to the PVC aisle at Lowes with an idea of what I want to build and come up with the parts there. This one probably cost indr $15. To make.

  • Do they need to be the mini type vortexes?

  • @Graymawr They take the "Pocket" Vortex.

  • WROOOONNG!!! soo many soldiers broke their legs doing that...... also that is a bad scale they werent that small...

  • ever considered hollowing out a nerf vortex from tip to 3/4 the length and about an inch wide. then you can fill it with flour and hold it in with a paper plug or something similar. the force holds the flour in and on impact with ground the flour fly's forward pushes the plug out and releases the flour to add an explosion simulation. im considering getting a grenade launcher if i can make this work

  • @jtprouty no i get the idea and its really cool. marshalls must be good where you go. have you tried any way of adding flour or powder. just something to add more effect. the whistle is awesome it just needs more of an explosion simulation on impact

  • @radioactivezombies59 I was just about to say that! Allot of American Marines broke there femurs and knees doing that with the jap knee mortar.

  • @Radioactivezombies59 and I'm only 2 years older than you... but have known that for 2 or 3 years...

  • @Radioactivezombies59 you are exactly right. In WWII many American soldiers picked these up as souvenirs. They didn't know it was small just to be portable, so they thought it was fired from the knee. Many people broke there legs from this.

  • Not to be a douchefag but Yes it is called the knee mortar but it is actually not meant to be used on your knee many people have broken their legs trying to fire it from their knee and I'm 11...
