@pac3lli I meant to say an easy to use and reliable one that is hand-powered. And I also forgot to say OMFG, those things don't put out a lot of greenhouse gases. Much less, in fact, than those emitted by "Moving into our new home." (See PakaNoHida's vids and it will make sense.)

There is one motorized tool that I certainly don't feel any reservations about using and that is a wood chipper. The amount of soil (and heat via composting) I can produce is more constructive than the destructive manufacturing and running costs.

I agree. A wood chipper/mulcher is a wonderful invention.
