I had to update a few of the answers from the video I uploaded about three weeks back. Enjoy the semi-new responses.
ANSWERS:
1. This was the first Disney film I saw, and I still have a soft spot for it. I don't really care that it fails to follow Kipling's original story; Disney Still did an awesome job with it.
2. I'll be honest; I was extremely skeptical of Princess and the Frog when it was first anounced. In fact, my parents made me take my little sisters to see it. I was in for a surprise, because I thought the movie was awesome. Tiana rounds out Disney's princesses very well. Her personality and perserverance just make her extremely likeable.
3. Greek mythology used to be one of my favorite things to read about (I still read it; just not as much as I used to). Hercules was adapted pretty well from the original myths (despite a few parts of the story that didn't get in), and he just struck a chord with me.
4. Louis is just a big fat load of fun. His sensitive personality and often random moments just made him an insanely entertaining character.
5. The Horned King was just incredibly intimidating and dark, and I couldn't help myself from being wowed.
6/7/8. Beauty and the Beast was a masterpiece with many mesmerizing scenes. Belle and the Beast made a perfectly suited couple, their dance was astonishing, and the kiss was breathtaking.
9. This was a hard one for me, but I decided on Lion King, because it shows the strong ties between Simba and Mufasa fabulously.
10. Again this was a debate, but I thought this scene was the most powerful and dramatic I've seen in a Disney film. Just awesome.
11. Simba made a great child. His curiousity and happy personality just made him a well-rounded character.
12. Like Louis, Kaa was just a fun character in the Jungle Book. Despite being the exact opposite of what he was in the book, I still like the character. Again, not much else to say.
13. I divided this into two categories because instrumental numbers, especially some Disney scores, deserve some mentioning along with vocals.
a. I Can Go the Distance was just a nice inspiring song. I still think of it if I need a lift in spirits.
b. One word to describe Raptor Attack: EPIC! James Newton Howard turned a relatively weak film into a masterpiece, just by adding the soundtrack.
14. Again, felt the overall film was pretty weak, but this scene in the introduction is just astounding. It really demonstrates the power visuals can have on a movie. Honestly, the main reasons I like the film were for the visuals and the soundtrack, in which this film blew out of the water.
15. Loved the ending, bacause it was still powerful after the climax of the film. This was my favorite segment from the ending, jkust because of the awesome visuals. A great way to end a great film.
@Tonytambe This questionnaire is for the films only. Parks aren't part of it.
