"Tinnitus: ringing in my ears?"
Part 3
By Dr. William Mason Medical Director
at www.EarResources.com
Tinnitus is one of the most common complaints that hearing
specialists encounter on an everyday basis. We will look into the cause of tinnitus, as well as tinnitus management, from the simple- competing sound, to TRT, or tinnitus retraining therapy, to the most
sophisticated solutions. Tinnitus is not curable, but it can be
managed, and there are resources available.

  • Everything this DR said is correct. Finally, someone being straightforward with everybody and not trying to sell you some fake cure!

  • Thank you, finally someone who actually gives the right answer to this question. I have suffered Tinnitus since I was born with a hearing loss & the amount of people on YouTube get it wrong about what causes this problem. Yes it is as you say usually caused by 'Nerve Damage' to the inner ear. There is no cure but there are steps U can take to help relieve symptoms - it can be caused by infection to the ear or an injury to the brain. If you think you have it my suggestion is get a hearing test.

  • @legoluke2000 SAME

  • how to stop ringing temp: put the palms of your hands over your ears. The fingers are on the back of the head. The middle fingers point towards each other and are on the base of the skull just above the point where the skull ends. Now lift the index fingers and place them on top of the middle fingers and then snap the index fingers off the middle fingers so that they beat the skull like a drum.

  • IM JUST 10 AND I HAVE THIS!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

  • @soupbowl417: Don't get pissed at the Doc. He's just being straight up with you. There is NO cure. And there are plenty of rip-off docs that will take a ton of money from you trying to "cure" it. Yeah, I've got it too. And it is insane sometimes. Get white noise machines sometimes listening to music on headphones will help too. But, the bottom-line is you will need to develop your own coping mechanisms to deal with it because you and it are going to be spending the rest of your lives together.

  • ty for the help every thing u say makes sence
