NORTHERN LIBERTIES - GREAT DIVIDE (BY RUIN...) 1/17/05

Northern Liberties covering a song originally written and recorded in 1986 by the band Ruin... in Philly at Bar Noir on Jan. 17, '05. This was part of a show which was put together to celebrate the legacy of Ruin... and to draw attention to a documentary film which was (is?) being made about this legendary Philadelphia band.

Ruin needs more tribute! Every other band's had a tribute CD done for them, I think it's time Ruin's been given their props. A bunch of bands all doing Ruin covers! Bring it!

I remember seeing RUIN at the Troc in Philly in 1987. To be honest, I had never heard of them and was just going to see the Dead Milkmen. Seeing Ruing right after Fiat Lux came out changed my life.
