Nice video, scary taking wet and dry to a finished painted surface but the end result is better.

Where did you get that paint depth gauge and how much was it? I would like to buy one but don't feel like spending hundreds on one.

Great video. I tried to fix some scratches and heavy chips on my 2011 SS Camaro this last April......I learned slot that weekend LOL.
I bought 2 cans of matched aerosol paint. Some 3M clearcoat with a hardener activator that only lasts 24 hours when activated (not good for rookies). Needless to say Monday morning all was well because I did the whole process times 3, just glad I started Saturday afternoon. I need to go back and touch up a few places where the paint built up next to the pa
im doing an old garden tractor, a 1969 cub cadet 124. can the same techniques be used?

@ad356 Assuming that the tractor does not have a clear coat, I would not recommend using this particular technique unless it has been repainted with a clear coat. Try a rubbing compound, polish, and then a wax or sealant. Be careful, and if you are to have questions find us on facebook! Thomas Automotive Detailing

The compound used was Wizards Finish Cut. The product is a one step compound, with no polish needed.
I picked up the sanding block at a local paint supply shop.
