Nice clean graphics, albeit simple - perhaps you can get the shaft to rotate as well? If you can make the whole motor (or camera) rotate, then you can do a shaft and a gear as well...
Also, you should try the fluids simulator - it is actually very simple to do the fluid in a cube intro animation, about as simple as this animation, in terms of buttons to click

blenders are easy to use heres how: step1: throw justin beaver in there.
step2:put the lid on and hold it firmly(so he cant escape).
step3: push and/or hold pulverise.
step4:try this with hanner montanner. :P lol
