Street Talk: the rise and fall of the poster

I neglected to mention that i won the competition! duhhhh.
Though i never got my prize. :( and my poster is not even going to be in the book. so... i guess i didn't win? whatever, it was the best one, according to the writers of the book, who happened to justbe flaky as hell.

You could print off some small versions of it on transparent paper, then put it in your portfolio over another art project you did. Perhaps with another page on top of the transparency with a brief explaination. I agree that it is an awesome thing to put in your portfolio, so definitely try!

Why dont you do a photo montarge (sp?) of all the pictures you've taken of it and then put the big transparancy over the top? something like that?

it doesnt have to be an elaborate explanation i dont think, simply say: I had to create a poster for a book about posters and this was my idea, its see-through so you just stick it over normal posters.. yeah i dont know but i think that makes sense and its pretty simple.. by the way, ingenious idea! wow, thats so cool... loving the other art as well. =]

You should make a design for your portfolio... Graphic design for a graphic design portfolio... It would stand out, so long as others haven't thought of this as well, which they probably have... yeah..
