Yeah I mean All big names in the Holy bible had more than one wife except for Jesus. There are more women in the world than men so if we hypothetically think of a situation where we have a 100% saturation (each man gets one wife) there will be million upon millions of women left unmarried or "manless". So polygamy is just one of the suggestion towards a solution. Its NOT mandatory in any religion or faith. A woman can not n should not have a multiple husbands cuz of the kids' lineage.

@ja10602389 Do you want to have 4 men ? lol hehe first of all not all marry 4 and the reason why a man can marry more than a one this is because in the past they used to have 20-30 wives so Islam has put limits for it until eventually majorty of us marry one only beside some women lost their husbands and they got no one to support them so sometimes they become a 2nd wife to a man so they can get support but this is rare now days we all marry one as far as i see where i live
