We, as African American women, go through so much to be our authentic selves. Their are few who are openminded in regards to race, sexuality, and belief system on UTUBE, however we can be found. I would recommend you live for you and not your mother. I am getting a "tug of war" energy from you and her. Really allow you to live your life true to you and your beliefs. Also, make an effort to really learn about why you feel the way you do about Paganism so you can tell her, when the time is right, exactly how you feel and what you believe. Practice in front of a mirror. : ) Hugs!

When you perform and dance that allows your Spirit to Fly free and lets your true authentic self to come out. To honor and respect others faith is one of the things being a true Pagan is all about. Honor the Divine regardless of the institution that is it under. You don't have to agree with the things the faith follow but honor the divineness of the faith.
