A drive in France, from Bagnoles de l'Orne to the Château in Carrouges.
Near the start, there's a black and white shot of the same bit of road, taken during the Second World War.
Inside the château, note the unfortunate positioning of coloured candles and candlesticks, which make it look as though the lady in the old portrait has cartoon legs and boots!

Have you noticed how few people in France acknowledge a polite gesture like stopping to let them cross the road, letting another car out, etc? Happens in your video. Weird.

the castle was so sumptuous which still remains from 16th century and castle's wall , fireplace and wardrobes look like as new ones.

Done this drive many times. Love Bagnolle. We stay about 5mls from Carrouges at L'etre du bois ( go through St Margerite de Carrouges and carry on about another 2 mls ) and just drop into the pace and lifestyle as soon as we get there. Tres tres bon.

@localdriver Could be - the group at 1:30 do cross with a most un-French alacrity, no dawdling at all! :)

I see you missed the turn for the château in the centre of Carrouges and had to go around - I did exactly the same thing on our first visit! Brilliant ploy to hide the sign for the château so it's not visible at the junction :)
