so there are that many collisions happening in the LHC every second, how do they know what particle they are getting and does each collision get logged by a computer or something?

Until today NOBODY had discovered any "particle" because in nature there are not ( in existence) any kind of "patrticles" like electron , boson, quark ,myon ets..!!! Open your minds...See directly the Open Book of the Nature..i.e the Standard Model of the Nature.!!

Scientific Revolutions happen rare and generally are not expected..!

Trust GOD and GREECE and the GREEK HISTORY..!! NOW begins my Greek Scientific Stauroforia.! Join to the New and abandon the Old and dusty pseudo-ideas of CERN etc..!

Nature self HAS NOT any kind of particles.. Thus NOBODY can discover objects NOT existing in nature ..Nature is UNITY and is not divided in sections of behavior..!

The stupids at CERN etc are not real scientists..!! OPEN YOUR MINDS ,Dear Readers of my comments..! Now is the time to go all ONLY FORWARDS !

SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION IN MATHEMATICS AND PHYSICS ,GREECE 2005-2012

New Mathematics and New Physics....all NEW for all people of the world..!!

There are lots of videos about it, but they have massive fiber optics that send mind boggling amounts of information to a computer array where certain images are filtered out if they contain nothing "interesting." So only a small fraction of collisions get saved. But it does save a completely random one every now and then even if the filters would otherwise reject it, and that's called the "minimum bias sample".

Well, they pretty much have a TON (i.e. very many) computers around the world looking into those collisions all the time.

There is not "method of discovering particles" beacuse ,according to the open book of the nature , in nature does NOT EXIST any kind of "particles" like electron , boson ,quark, myon ,ets.!! Nature is not the ZOO garden of the different Theoretical Centers all around the world..!! People say that ..."the number of patricles invented" = "the number of directors" and .".the number of subparticles invented" = "the number of subdirectors"

...!! Wake up your minds ,Dear Readers of this Comment...!

The "scientists of CERN and their satelites scientists" are NOT WORKING "round the clock" to "make sure..." because ALL SCIENTISTS dont believe the explanations "made in CERN" i.e the results are valid ..but the explanations ARE NOT SERIOUS...!!!

Now is the time to improve all scientists (and not only the scientists) around the world their old and dusty etc knowledge about the Nature..!!The open book of the nature i.e the reality says NO to CERN explanatios.. !!Nature has only three ATOMS etc
