Santa 60m World Record @UWIC GP 1 Christmas Classic

The world stood and watch on the 11th December 2011 as 8 santa's raced down the track over 60m in the UWIC GP 1 Chrismas Classic. The winning Santa was Mike Haslett in a World Record* time of 7.82. Thanks to all the supporters of the UWIC & Welsh Athletics meeting and Travelling Runner for sponsoring the Santa Races. Lastly a slight issue with the sound as you can't quite hear the crowd going crazy with emotion following the record. We believe the noise was just to much for our sound system!
