UPDATE: Check out my new Siri + WolframAlpha video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=remIOL...

This is a video response to Jean-Louise Nguyen's video on 40+ Voice Searches on Jelly Bean's Google Voice Search, or Google Now. I have kept every question almost identical, except for where I show a few variations of the same question or where I've tweaked the locations a bit to keep the results practical. His original video can be found here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHkhp6...

Everything you see was recorded in one take, and is raw footage. No edits whatsoever. I do speak a little more deliberately than the other video, but that's just my voice and how I talk.

A few things to note:

1. Siri is actually much quicker in the final release of iOS 6.

2. Siri CAN search images through WolframAlpha if you say "show me a picture of _______" or "what does ________ look like?" It's not always available though, and Google image search is not built right in. (see number 5)

3. Siri can do the same thing as images with flights, but only through WolframAlpha (built in). (see number 5)

4. Siri does read WolframAlpha content out loud if it's simple. This has been removed in iOS 6 GM for reasons unknown.

5. When Siri asks to search the web, if I had said "yes," she simply opens up a Google search, or whatever your default search setting is. *Through this method, it is also possible to search for more of the knowledge questions (such as height for Space Mountain, flights, images, etc.).* You can also say things like "Google _____," "Search Yahoo for_____," "Search Bing for _____," and Siri will skip confirmation.

6. Also, you can ask her for transit and walking directions in Maps, but Apple has changed the way transit maps work in iOS 6 by allowing developers to integrate their transit apps right into the stock Maps app.

This is a completely objective comparison. Feel free to sound off in the comments or on my profile page! Hope you like it.
