We are Noobknight, hear us RAWR!
My next video will show my rotations.
My talent build is shown at the end of the video, during the credits.
Links to my weapons, a detailed combat log of that fight on World of Logs, and to my armoury are provided here in their respective sections.
This fight is practically 100% single target damage. Frost has always had nice AoE, and decent single target damage. I believe with 3.2 and dual wielding, our single target damage has been upped. It is generally believed that Blood is the best single target damage, and Unholy is the best AoE build, leaving Frost as something of a "jack of all trade, master of none" setup with respect to Death Knight talent tree specializations.
DON'T BELIEVE THEM.
I'm not saying theorycraft, cookie cutter specs, and experience of other players counts for nothing.
I am just saying you need to find a spec that works for you, there is no one setup that works amazingly well for everyone. Cookie Cutter specs and rotations are a good reference, but you should be testing your own setups once you have a general grasp on the playstyle.
I play Frost as my main spec for dps, tanking, and pvp since I started this character. I do better with Frost than I do with Blood or Unholy in just about every given situation.
If you want to be the best, you have to work for it. Frost is probably the hardest setup to master because of its dynamic nature, mainly due to procs. No two fights will be exactly the same.
I have spent countless hours on the dummies at Ebon Hold working out spec, rotations, and gear setups. I will share what I know, but take it as a guide to making your own. Everytime Blizzard forces us to rethink our setup (so far, every major patch lol), I end up going back to the drawing board and back to the dummies.
They must really hate me.
My next video will probably be General Squidface from Uld 25, the first boss of the "Descent into Madness", and the boss right before Yogg-Saron. He is pretty much a boring "faceroll" fight for melee, which makes him a perfect fight to detail single target rotations, and how DW Frost is stacking up to other melee, especially Blood and Unholy DKs.
Number 2 and Number 3 on the damage metres here are both well geared and well played Blood Death Knights, and my guild has some pretty nice DPS (we can generally clear through Yogg in 25 man Uld in one four hour night). As such, this should be a pretty good example of how Dual Wield Frost can keep up with, and even surpass, 2h Blood in primarily single target setups (though they're getting multiple hits with Heart Strike on the first boss on the adds, and my Howling Blast refused to him them for some reason).

Once you have checked it out, I invite you to also review the other boss kills, and the overall damage data. That same night, we also did Sarth+3D 25 and some leftover Ulduar 25 stuff. I believe I topped every fight, and I topped overall as well, using the same spec/setup I used in this video.
The weapons I use are 2 x Vulmir, the Northern Tempest. They are slow weapons, I have found Slow+Slow to be vastly superior to Slow-Fast, or Fast-Fast.
I use Fallen Crusader on my mainhand, and Razorice on my offhand.

It drops from Thorim in Ulduar 25.
