William Wegman and his dog Man-Ray on David Letterman

I wish David Letterman or Carson Productions would release the early seasons of Late Night on DVD. E! was showing them for awhile, but I understand David was the one who stopped it. Anyway, here's William Wegman and his dog/model/insperation Man-Ray.

BTW I was going to also put up the Bob and Ray interview from the same show, but someone beat me to it.

Unfortunately NBC owns those old Letterman shows, and you know there's no love lost between NBC and Letterman.

@mnoe817 Of course, on the other hand, if NBC found out they could make money off Letterman's work without having to pay him anything more I bet they'd be cranking out DVDs sooner than you could say "Buttafuoco!"

This is Episode 8 of "Late Night". Episode 9, the one he mentions with Andy Rooney, Frankin Ajaye and the potato museum featured an opening with a first person view of Letterman before he starts the show. The clip is on here somewhere. In that episode, it's labeled "Episode 9"

Just found you and your dogs on Letterman back in...??? Your have a wonderful sense of humour and the "tricks" are pretty stupid yet so so FUNNY!!! LOL

Agreed. His first anniversary show was amazing, and I can't find it among my tapes.
