im about ready to pull the mod motor out of the 96 and put a damn SBF in it soooooooo sick of the B with that motor

@Xarmy187 I've never seen rockers roll back and forth that much, perhaps a new set is what you need then if everything else was copacetic. Someone else might have a better idea but that would be my next plan of action. Good luck to you sir.

@frankrizzooo ran this combo for 2 years, rocker geometry, and roller tip pattern was checked back then to order pushrods. which it was all peachy. The car has a trickflow stage 2 cam. Stock midpipe is on for emissions right now, so thats why the car is so quiet.
I bought the rockers used, from a guy with a BUILT 347. I think the rockers might just be beat to shit.

to me looks like they are just worn out, the roller tip shouldnt move that mush from side to side, it should be almost an interference fit...
from what ive heard, using either the TFS or Harland Sharp rockers seems to be the best option as they are both specifically made for use on the TFS heads...

@motohorse87 sup man. Trying to see if im going to have money to swing around for higher end rockers... we will see. going to play with them some more and see what I can do.
but I am starting to think they are wore out...... I beat the CRAP out of this car, haha

One more thing..and this may be useless but when you torque down your rockers are you rotating your pushrods with your fingers? Just something I have always done, not even sure where I picked that habit up from just something I do.

@frankrizzooo i lift up on the pushrods, and then start spinning them to find zero lash. its the best way to do it
