Another mistake: Notice at 00:33 when Vangelis adjusts volume pedal which I presume was supposed to raise the volume of the string sound but instead accidently turns the volume of the guitar off. Obviously using 15 volume pedals can be pretty challenging at times!

In the meantime guitar sound have evolved in realism, but the trick is to play the kind of instrument in the right style, then the sound doesn't matter so much, Vangelis can also make a good demo player occasionaly.
