Riley kicks off his Game Time series with Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force I on
the PC. This has been a favorite of Rileys ever since its release in 2000. This
series will encompass 8 videos in total - this means Riley will play and
commentate on more than 90% of the game!

Now you can join Riley for some commentary excitement as he plays some of his past favorites! New episodes uploaded twice a week. Rather than a snapshot of a particular title (similar to what Jon does), Riley plays a good majority of the entire game. Join him every Monday and Friday so watch him progress through his favorite video game titles!

Your elite force videos are awesome. It would be a shame if you cut it short just cause of a few losers crappy comments. Plus check the feedback on this one. It's all thumbs up!

@mateo360 That was an interesting read. I'll certainly make note of it but the intonation of the writer didn't exactly help, seemed more opinionated than straight facts which casts a shadow on its credibility in my opinion. Also it doesn't explain how people like Chuggaaconroy, NintendoCapriSun, PaperBatVG, or even straight to the point, Machinima, can monetize on it if it's breaking copyright. Youtube's really picky about that. Like, REALLY, picky. Thanks for the insight. Not trying to dispute.

@mateo360 It doesn't violate copyright in any way to post a video of yourself playing through a game. The entire work is a transformative work simply because your actions are what make that video unique. If it were a completely linear work such as a movie, that would be copyright infringement because you add no input to what's being displayed in the slightest, the entire thing would be somebody else's work. All that aside, it's also free publicity. What company doesn't want free publicity? XD

@SplinterCellFrever I don't have endless time to edit videos. Most of my videos are completely unedited. I too have a job outside of youtube. I also have a life that takes up most of my time. The videos I made are done in the what little time I had to myself. All I did in my first comment was state why I didn't like it. You brought up copyright and I told you how no matter how it is edited, it it violating it. You have no right to judge me on how my life is spent with the little information told

The guy that owns this channel has a job outside youtube, he has a wife and a 2 year old son. So he doesn't have time to make huge unending videos. He has a life. Unlike some people. You should think about getting one.

@SplinterCellFrever If you really want to get technical, just posting any part of the game is violating copyright. I have done a whole LP of the game and I haven't got a single copyright notice. If there is that much worry about copyright, it is better not to post it at all then to chop it up and leave out story critical scenes.

@mateo360 The reason he might only do gameplay and not include cutscenes like that is cause gameplay is sort of okay but when you include footage of the movie-like parts it ventures into copyright

@SplinterCellFrever Part of why I don't like it is that he has cut out big parts of the game that are important to the plot such as when the raiders first boarded Voyagers. He just goes right on to the away missions.
