A little gem from ITV. Des O'Connor chats to Kenny Everett who is, for him in a really sensible mood!

  • @TheMusicman12ize

Yes he certainly was a 'one off' a much loved guy, and comedian, presenter, DJ you name it, Kenny could turn his hand to it.

  • Poor Kenny! you can see the signs of his illness here :( I grew up watching him on tv! so glad to be part of having a good laugh when TV had real comedians!!

  • @Fender1976uk

Yes I agree the signs of his illness are beginning to show. Kenny was a 'one off' in comedic terms, the man was simply a genius. There are very few if any comics these days that are half as good as he was. He was a genuinely nice person too.,

    Thanks for your comments.

  • 1989 he was told he had HIV, so he knew he was in trouble here hence why he began body building etc

  • I miss the guy! I just don't find todays comedians that funny!! I saw abit of a show where some guy came on! tells the audience to 'F off' and everyone is in tears?? I was confused?? people love verbal abuse now?? no storylines? no making fools of yourselves because you think your too cool and above everyone?? Kenny connected with his audience like they were his family! he was always fun to watch!

  • I was not contradicting myself at all. I was merely pointing out the right of others to express their opinions, yourself included. I suggested you learnt to be tolerant of the opinions of others. I did not say you had no right to express your own opinions.

I am pleased you enjoyed the 'upload'.

  • As a Kenny fan I appreciate the upload, however, you have contradicted yourself.

'Freedom of speech/writing`... that would be the very same freedom of speech/writing that allows me to comment on OTHER peoples comments/opinions on You Tube then?

  • I agree the subject is rather morbid. Having said that, freedom of speech/writing is enjoyed by most people these days. Perhaps you should learn to be tolerant of the opinion of others, whatever the subject matter!.
