@wozjj Ronnies hat was indeed the high roller with the snakeskin and you can buy one from Texas hatters. A rescuer at the crash got Ronnies hat and gave it to his wife who buried it with Ronnie. I read an interview with Donnie who was commenting on the criticism that he was getting 4 wearing a similar hat 2 Ronnies (people saying he was stealing Ronnies image). He said that Ronnie gave it to him and that he would wear it every time on stage and to hell with anybody who did not like it.

@wozjj Ronnie didnt give him that hat. Ronnie's hat was created by Texas Hatters just for him. It's called the High Roller. Donnie Started wearing it after Ronnie died as a tribute to his brother. I dont remember of the top of my head what it is called by the model is slightly different. For example the High Roller's that Ronnie wore always had a rattlesnake band.

i wish donnie took over the mike after ronnie left us... He seemed like the perfect fit to me..Johnny might look like Ronnie a bit.... but Donnie has the vocal talent and songwriting talent .... Sorry Johnny But you're older brothers laid the ground.......you just aint good enuff to walk there and take the skynyrd band on tour.. let Donnie sing and the fans will come back..... you keep singing and writing ... I'm sure i will catch you guys in a church basement somewhere

Gotta love these guys -- and actually we definitely do! They are so talented, and such nice people ... and it is as-plain-as-day obvious that as brothers, they are so close at the heart.
