Marigot, St. Martin: Kreyol Band

This band plays every weekend in Marigot, St. Martin. They sing in Kreyol (Creole) and sound very Haitian but I was told are from Guadeloupe. I'd like to talk to them more and find out where everyone is from. This footage is from 1/14/12. The middle drummer is very responsive to dancers and I could listen and dance to their music all day. They played a range of music and this song seems to come from a strong troubador or twoubadou (Haitian) tradition with verses and a chorus, guitar, and drums, and tcha cha.
