5.0 Mustang shifting gears easy effort

this is how i drive getting on the highway, or if i wanna get up to speed pretty quick, nothing crazy.

went up to around 3,000rpm

new transmission has about 250miles on it.

1st gear in the Cobra T5 is 3.55, the rearend gear is 4.10, so first gear is VERY short.

car has Full bolton's, intake, ported stock heads, Cobra T5, steeda tri-ax short throw, 4.10 rear end, Mickey thompson ET street radials on Weld draglites.

a few other things here and there, but nothing major

shot with my new Canon Powershot SX10 IS camera.

What kind of shifter is that?

@Mr5pointO its a Tri-ax shifter and handle, with a 1964 VW knob. I have since changed it to a hurst lever and knob in my newer videos.

@Xarmy187 O im looking for a new shifter, I have a Pro 5.0, with a tri ax handle, its alright. I think im gonna try a MGW next

@Mr5pointO yea I like the tri-ax shifter base, but the hurst handle and knob made it so much better for me. Most people think the handle is to long, but for me I actually shift faster with it because I have more leverage.

Were you shifting around 3500-4000 rpms? It didn't sound like you were running each gear out.

yea, i love the new sound from the new cat-back.

2000-3000rpm's it has this tone to it thats amazing.

it sounds better in person of course, this video is with the windows only cracked a tiny tiny bit, so you cant really tell how MEAN and LOUD it really is, haha.
