I can't figure it, with all the good reviews, Academy award nominations, the earnings of only $18 million on a $35 million budget made this film bomb at the box office.

@NathanSkateRatt I have no idea, sorry. Maybe you should look for "score", not the soundtrack. The latter is the compilation of songs performed by different bands, while the former includes all the tracks written specifically for the movie.
