Three festivals in Southern Ontario ran concurrently on the last weekend of August 2010. The Iron Horse Festival was held in St. Thomas, Ontario and consisted of a carnival, buskers, street vendors and live music entertainment performed simultaneously on 3 stages. Saturday the main attraction was that of the AC/DC tribute band [Bonfire] and the 80's metal tribute band [Leather Snake]. During the same weekend at the local Tecumseh Cornfest, the well known Theory of a Deadman performed live on the Friday night. The following days of the Cornfest included plenty of corn, soapbox racing, a carnival, games and more. Amherstburg, Ontario also held Art by the River this weekend, which was located within historic Fort Malden National Historic Site. There were several artist displaying their beautiful works, which included everything from paintings to pottery to jewelery. This weekend was a crowning jewel to a fun filled summer in Southwestern, Ontario.
