Let's face it: as a talk show guest, Magic Johnson is pretty good (withness his recent appearance on "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE"). However, as a talk show HOST....in the summer of 1998, Fox Television hoped that Magic had enough celebrity charisma to hide the fact that he was quite inarticulate when discussing ANYTHING with other people, behind a desk. "Maybe he'll attract enough of his fans so they won't notice", the executives figured. Put Howard Stern next to him- and the illusion was destroyed.
Wow, Magic Johnson's height is 6'9'' while Howard Stern is 6'5'', but they almost look the same height from my view. Anyways, Howard Stern was certain about Magic. I wouldn't think Magic's show was going to last, no offense.
