Howard Stern's July 3, 1998 appearance on "The Magic Hour" with Magic Johnson. Howard brings along his band "The Losers" to perform a unique flatulent version of "Wipeout." Stern's appearance drew the highest rating ever for the shortlived talk show.

If only he has a top ten basketball tricks of the day or something, the show would have still been on, SIKE! No, it wouldn't have, this still is the worst talk show of all time. Tony Danza's talk show is a strong second.

@StanHowser Sorry dude but the "magic show" never recovered after the premier... It was plain awful and everyone knew it.. Howard was the best thing that happened to it and only he was able to keep it alive for a little longer..

i remember howard used to bash the living shit out magic's show on the radio and he told the producers of the magic johson show, the only way he would go on the show was to have this number in it. The ratings were up for a while but soon after the show was cancelled. I don't think the show was horrible, i mean there were other shows worst than this.

I Love Magic, and although I was not old enough to remember this show, this is truly hard to watch.

magic is a nice guy but the guest is too big for his show, unfortunately howard never had a better interviewer then him to be interviewed, no lettermans, larry kings, no one gets even close, it would be great we had one interviewer good enough to get from him like he does on any of his guests, stern is the top entertainer/interviewer of all time... try and name a guy more successfull, there isn't
