@NickB1967 Kwanzaa (first fruits) is as authentic a celebration as any holiday designed for reflection, and commitment. Whether or not Kwanzaa is an indigenous/native holiday celebrated by Africans does not determine if the holiday is fake or not. Its rooted in the ancient first-fruit harvests throughout Africa and the modern black freedom movement of the 60's. Kwanzaa, Juneteenth, and Black History Month all complement one another and should be embraced with equal value.
