MIssion statements are often dismissed as bureaucratic drivel.

But a mission statement isn't just a short written document. Without a mission, how do you know what you're going to do, regardless of your values?

Today's technologies may be calling into question the very essence of missions. If social media and other technologies do impact the mission, then they may also impact the strategies that derive from the mission.

In this video, I outline why it's important to revisit the mission statement in light of today's evolving technological conditions.
