Sorry you cant research as well as i can then. It was in the news how it was a misused law recently at a garage sale. Im done arguing.

Sorry, no apology. This action is to keep resale of dangerous products off the market, has nothing to do with garage sales. The "resale roundup" was a name the CPSC (child safety) gave the program back in 2004, when there were quite a few products coming into this country from china with lead paint.

@Boomer1949 I found it easy enough by googeling "garage sales crack down" and OR the name of the bill which is "Resale Roundup" I suggest you educate yourself then offer an apology for challenging my veracity.

It's as though your suprised about sweet heart deals. Bush made them with Walmart, Citigroup, polluters, and even sport teams and none of those helped amercian citizens much less save lives.

I think if the deal is less govt, lower taxes and mind you own business...it should be at the state and local levels. Hell I pay way more in sales taxes, property and school taxes than in all the fed taxes combined 2 or 3 X over. And the local gov is telling me when I can water my lawn!!

Isn't that considered a bribe? If the people do this it's a crime, if our elected officials rip us off it's OK? If this bill is supposed to be for the people, why do we have to bribe the senators? I keep asking. Have you called and asked your senator about these back door deals? They say it's been going on for a long time. Why don't I remember hearing about this? Oh yeah, that was undercover, they are doing it right in our faces. No RESPECT, what is a Bill of Rights What is the constitution?
