@theawesomeness505 i think thats the old school efini badge. ive seen some rx7s with that or the little circle one that looks like a flame. i think japan actually has the one with the M on it
@cowsys1 haha no, i own an rx8, i honestly do, the 8 has a 13b, at least until the 16b comes out, and i'm talikng FD 7s and a "quick google search" will show the 8 IS a 13B the only stock 3 rotor or 20B was the cosmo, you who lack knowledge should look at the forums on rx7club and rx8club, and yes i can find them but they're all thousands of miles away considering i'm in the middle of kansas
You obviously don't know what you're talking about. A quick google search could show you that the 3rd gen RX-7 engine is a 13B and the RX-8 is a 3 rotor 20B. All 3rd gens come stock twin turbo'd and no, if you look around you can find some clean stock LHD RX-7's for under 10k. I currently own a N/A FC and it is a great car as long as you look after it.
@griffinherbst you do know that both the 7 & the 8 have a 13b rotary, just one had a turbo stock which gave it the extra power and even if it is waaay cheaper to rebuild or replace, one would be hard pressed to find and FD3S stock or at a decent price unless it's in a salvage yard.
ill go with yes, not to hate on those that drive rx8s but they dont have anything close to the rx7 for power. not to mention the rx7 fds are WAY cheaper to rebuild or replace. i personally like mine a lot, sad to be selling it. if you bought an rx7 and put probably 4-6 grand under the hood it will easily spank most of the cars out there. not to mention the stock suspension is amazing too.
haha i appreciate the info i ended up buying a 93 last year and it ended up being a sick car. built it up to 380 horse and selling it now this year. awesome car though, dont listen to anybody telling you they are unreliable,
@griffinherbst if you treat one well, drive carefully they will last a long time whatever people say 'oh dont get one its shit' etc. I have had one for 7 years a efini but a 1994 model so younger. It has mods on like bovs and a 4'' catback all the nice things to make it go fast and sound great just like a real rex should =)

@griffinherbst I was thinking about selling my RX8 for a third gen RX7 and building up the engine, you think it's worth it?
