Watching this was pretty pointless since the OLED's picture quality was obscured by the cheap LCD i'm watching on :)

@U2ber17 If you knew what kind of money goes into the beginning production of this stuff, you'd understand why their start-up price is so expensive. No, it's not to rake in money, it's to make up for all the money they just spend developing it.

You can buy this in a german electro shop for around 2000€ (around 2800$)

i guess it cheaper to make but because its new technology its going to be expensive when its first released so sony can rake in the money

it says on the sony website 40% cheaper to run so you expect to be cheaper then lcd but its 5000 for 11' one in australia perth
