  • How the hell did they decide to have a 5:1 ratio pattern for a major title? WTF man, what a disgrace. I don't understand how they put down 2:1 ratio patterns for college tournaments but during a professional MAJOR tournament they put down 5:1 patterns. I know its to please the large crowd with a high scoring pattern but what the hell. Lame!

  • @bigjew899 Take your complaints to the Bowling Proprietors Association of America. This organization was responsible for coordinating the tournament.

  • Oil pattern aside, how the heck is a professional allowed to wear a wrist brace? There isn't an awful lot of physicality in this game to begin with. Completely removing the need to maintain wrist shape with a brace is pretty weaksauce.

  • They had the Open at Houston Stadium

  • @TristanBeaner she looks like a lizard -_-

  • @bigjew899 Yeah, it's pretty embarassing. Especially for women's bowling, which has been flailing wildly to show it's still valid and competitive. I felt very similarly about the ToC pattern this year. The ToC telecast didn't make it seem too bad (although if Smallwood had stuck to his plan that might have been a different story), but when they put it down for the summer series it was ridiculous. Didn't look competitive at all.

  • Televised bowling fell from articulate, pleasant sounding color commentators (Billy Welu, Nelson Burton Jr.) and Chris Schenkel to this ? Chris Barnes sounds like Ernie on Sesame Street. Bowling's finished.

  • @sabeboy1977: this was on TV, so of course they want the scores to be high. If they were to televise every college tournament and make college bowling marketable they would probably put down PBA shots, or even worse, Typical House Shots. I was more surpised than anything tbh. But I think we can all agree that bowling on TV is not what it used to be.

  • @bigjew899 yup i agree with irishpogi. you complain only if you handle a 270 average with this so pooooooooor and easy oil ratio. otherwise keep practice and maybe some day you will be on finals with this oil ratio and win.... i mean, what the hell!?

  • Also lets see if u can roll a 200 or 1 of my 18 300's =)

  • @aznboi1398 It's a sport AND a game.

  • I tried to look for tennis but i get bowling wtf?

    Bowling isn't a sport tsktsk
