In comparison it is said that if our"sun" is the size of our eye, the Milky Way Galaxy would be relative to the size of Russia. The sun is 1,000,000 times the mass of the planet we live in.
We are probably among one of the youngest civilazations to exist because we live in the Spiral arms of the Milky Way.
