@slim2006jd - I believe that the babies are getting enough to eat. Some of them are shown to the public for less than an hour each day to help raise funds for the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. This is just to show the public how the babies are fed. The Sheldrick Trust is very successful in reintroducing orphaned elephants back into the wild...
