In the 70's, Peter Frampton was one of the biggest arena rock stars around. His album Frampton Comes Alive has sold over 16 million copies worldwide. Frampton's newest effort is a collection of instrumental pieces with a diverse mix of Latin balladry and American soul influences. It features collaborations with members of the Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, The Shadows and The Grateful Dead. Credits: Post -Production:Scott Rogo - TRT Productions

  • He mentioned he dosent like to sing , all though I think he sings juuuust fine : ) . He should do what Carlos Santa has done and feature some singers on some music while he plays guitar.

  • Holy shit... he is sooo sexy..

  • He has got even sexier!! I have been so in love with for years.

  • Saw him in '75 in Sacto. Peter Frampton produced the new Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam CD "Coming Up For Air". Knowles, from Isle of Man is now touring the US promoting the new CD. "There is enough swagger, anguish and fiery chops in this Peter Frampton-produced set to qualify 22-year-old British guitarist Knowles for mainstream blues-rock cred." (USA Today review of 'Coming Up For Air')

  • thats peter framptons signature. Search "Do You Feel Like I Do," and listen to the solo.

  • damn that sounds better than the original Black Hole Sun in my opinion

  • I have had the honor of meeting Peter several times and even got to jam with him at one of his soundchecks on his black Les Paul! I was so nervous I nearly hurled. Extremely nice guy and one of the most amazing players ever. You should hear him play jazz, unreal. Rock On Peter.

  • i think its a q filter type pedal (which sounds like a wah pedal stuck in one position at times, i think i might be mistaken) or he might just have a wah pedal on but having it stuck in one place...

  • I found out from a Gibson interview. He's using a Mutron III with a seymour duncan pickup booster to drive the signal, into a plexi 100. Sounds sweet.

  • its probably Wah peddal, or distortion on the guitar, i dont see a pedal...

so most likely the wah-wah distortion on the guitar
