Mind Body & Kick Ass Moves - Vagabonds Skills Stunts and Swords from Wing Tsun GM Leung Ting. The Grandmaster showcases
the stunts and tricks of the martial art vagabonds and showmen.

A unique clip from the August Productions/ BBC series that looks at the myths and reality in martial arts showcasing various forms, secret skills, ancient knowledge, and hidden techniques from all over the East.

Screened by the BBC across the UK and also on Discovery channels across Europe, Middle East and Africa and as Mind, Body & Kickin Moves on FSN, the Fox Sports Network, across the United States.

Shot on location in a Hong Kong. Thank you Grandmaster Leung Ting.

See a sledge hammer slam onto bricks on a man's head, a man jump onto a man's belly, the serious slicing of a machete across throats, belly and an arm, a sword chop through a melon on a man's stomach, a
smoking red hot chain touched by a man's bare hands.

  • These are tricks meant to fool westerners. A lot of people in the west believe in all kinds of superhuman abilities of the legendary Shaolin monks and to add to the misconception, the current "monks" at the Shaolin temple are doing flashy contemporary Wushu that looks like the movies. Real kung fu is effective and and impressive, but there's nothing superhuman about it. A boxer is also a very good fighter. And real kung fu doesn't look anything like the movies. It's much uglier and less flashy.

  • There is nothing "superhuman" about the martial arts. The spectacular techniques martial artists (such as myself) do are learned after years of dedicated practice.

  • FINALLY a guy who admits that these tricks are exactly that...tricks!

  • @qwiksilver haha

  • How ironic- Leung Ting talking about top-notch deceivers...

  • I hurt my Barry laughing at that.

  • now to those who insult other people who are not fluent in English i ask you this? do you know how to speak his language? because us(i am not a Chinese) we are lucky that we can speak English but you guys don't know how to speak our language but we knew how to speak your language so get over with it.

  • @KAZUSHIKIMINOUE There's a good Kick Ass Miracles bit (I think it's on YouTube) where some Indian guys do the same for some of their 'supernatural' feats.. like levitation and things.

    Interesting stuff. :)

  • @hulkout666 agreed! if it looks good! its not real :)
