Chinese Building FIre Skyscraper

A fierce fire consumed all 44 floors of a skyscraper in Beijing today, shooting 30 foot flames into the air, the building never collapsed.

The fire was burning from the ground floor to the top floor of the large building, the flames reflecting in the glass facade of the main CCTV tower next to the hotel and cultural center, reports the New York Times.

You are the most ignorant person I have ever met. First off the CCTV fire was caused by fireworks and not jet fuel. Also, you ignorantly argued to crash a plane into the CCTV building, I hope you realize that there is something called architecture and not all buildings have the same design. Almost every building over 10 stories has a central support system where there are one or more central columns that bear the load. Rather than designing the WTC to the architectural norm......

@jimmym412 Just what is Jet Fuel, its KEROSENE, your grill or heater using kerosene doesn't melt does it. If anything WTC was overengineered because it was the pride of our country. WTC did have STRONG Central Columns, they bared 50% of the weight, these massive steel beems were 3x2feet with walls 2inches thick. Now if you ask me where did all the stell go, why did it crumble at speed of gravity. If anything I'd expect the floors to fall but central structure to stand, educate yourself first

Jet fuel is not standard kerosene. It's made from kerosene but standard kerosene is refined a fraction of what high octane jet fuel is, you dolt. Any explosion caused by a large projectile traveling at 650 miles per hour, filled with highly explosive jet fuel is going to have dramatically different results than an office fire. Now go back to your Alex Jones webpage or whatever nut you follow and fill your head with more non sense.

@benpg Just when you lack sufficient argument, you start calling people names. An open air hydrocarbon fire will not get over 1200 F. Once you see black smoke coming out of building it means fire is starving fox oxygen.

If anything buildings much like cars, back in 70's were build like tanks, because we didn't have elaborate computer models of structures, we just used lots of metal and concrete.

@benpg I can't say that I just purely believe they weren't brought down by Jet Planes alone, I have big doubts, but when I look at WTC 7 collapse, that is controlled implosion. True it was hit by some debris but so were other buildings more adjacent to WTC 1 2, that suffered much more damage yet remained standing. Its a fact that WTC 7 fell down as if it lost all support withing one second, as if it just turned to dry sand and puff, down it went. It was 50 stories of concrete and steel too.

Minoru Yamasaki designed his buildings with an exoskeleton style support system. This allowed for more office space but it made the frame of the building bear all the load. This is what allowed the building to buckle in on itself unlike other buildings like the CCTV building would. This is why architects design buildings with central support systems. I suggest you check you facts and study a bit of architecture before you start making ridiculous claims. Stop making up conspiracy theories.

Why is it that all of you conspiracy nuts have a different view of who committed 9/11? I knew a guy who didn't want to pay his taxes, he said it was the US government.
