Just be proud of who you are and where you are. I am from England, and believe me when I say, there is nothing special about Britain, We have crime everyday, everywhere, there are nice places and there are horrible places, Nice people and nasty people. We are no different to you, But if you like to be British because of the accent, you need to get that out of your system, that's not a very good reason to like someone, and it will give you false impressions.
