@5410082 right, when I use the subjunctive English Native speakers tell me that nobody use this mood nowadays and when I don't use it, some say that I must in correct English, so? I found If I were to go in my old bible in Exodus!

English is my native language. In English you should say, "If I were to go with you, I would take a coat." Using the word "would" in the first phrase is not correct.

@iTresJolie a long time ago we used to make a difference between ai and ais (é), but not anymore, so when you speak, the context can help you.

I understand what you are saying. However, proper grammar is still important both in school and in business. If you want to leave out the subjunctive in the sentence in question, then I would say, "If I go with you, I will take a coat."

@5410082 ok but the lesson is about conditional, proper grammar is important, but i don't intend to teach English in this lesson
