  • Ive read about this technique of printed wings, very smart, I understand how tedious it can be to manufacture wings.

    After reading several articles on Dragonfly wings ive found an interesting method to control the air flow along the wings surface using a series of folds. My problem is the wings are made of tracing paper which loses its strength over time, plus making them by hand leaves imperfections from one wing to another.

    Anyway, keep up the good research! Looks like Fun!

  • the string is probably to stop it getting damaged if it suddenly stopped working. Imagine it giving up 7 foot in the air and just smashing to the ground.
