Continuation of my last video pertaining to scalp care and natural hair. I've had a HORRIBLE scalp since I was 8 years old and was worried about how to deal with all the flakes when I went natural. Fortunately, I've found a few product (over the counter and prescription) that have saved the day. My scalp has NEVER been healthier! The names of the prescription items that i could not pronounce are Ketoconazole Shampoo and the Derma-Smoothe/FS Fluocinolone Acetonide. Let me know if you have any questions about dandruff or scalp care-I DEFINITELY have had experience with that!

  • you are so pretty and I love your vids, you remind me of decease singer aaliyah

  • Thanks so much! lol-I used to get that comment ALL the time, especially in high school when i wore my hair straight and down. It's DEFINITELY a compliment-she was so beautiful ^_^

  • yay. i also use the fluocinolone acetonide! it used to burn when i first applied it. i don't know if i am now used to the burn or if it stopped after awhile or not. i also use fluocinodide ointment just around my edges. im so happy someone else has the same condition as me! mind was so bad i got discharged from the military because of it

  • I love these products! I wish some dermatologist would've had the sense to give it to me sooner. lol I'm glad their working for you- having a bad scalp is the worst! I know the military too, and it DEFINITELY had to be bad for them to let you go. Good news is, we're looking great now! ^_^

  • i have the same thing. that ketaconazole dried out my hair just now. i am conditioning it now. i mean hair was dry as hell. but then again i would rather have to condition well than be all flaky and fungal

  • This video is so helpful! It ties together everything I've self-taught myself of seborrheic dermatitis online. I've had this condition since I was 12 and I've been suffering in silence for 7 years (I'm 19). I can't take the flaking, and imflammation and itching and finally went with my mother to the dermatologist as I was too embarrassed before because I thought it was my fault for not taking better care of myself. He prescribed me the Ketoconazole 2% shampoo and I hope I get the same results!!

  • beautiful thanks i was wondering if you can purchase the Ketoconazole Shampoo i been using from a drug store. Its a little much going back and forth to the dermatologist to get new prescriptions.

  • You should check out Revita shampoo by DS Labs. Its good stuff, all natural, no sulfates, etc. Its really the best shampoo imho.
