To be honest Globla Warming is real. It's a natural part of the planet's climate system. What is looking bogus more and more is the human cuased global warming bit. First temperatures rise THEN CO2 levels rise. It's not the other way around. Temperature changes follow the sun cycles closer than it does CO2 levels. Watch a video I uploaded on this subject called Blame The Sun Not SUVs. Plenty of scinece in it to support its position.

This is amazing to me as well. they ignore the body of scientific data out there that blows massive holes in their claims. they ignore the fact that the IPCC doctored their data to get it to paint the alarmist picture they wanted. The fact that they want to enforce a "carbon tax" is very telling. It's a money grab for this historically corrupt political entity. It sounds like many of the Human Caused Global Warming faithful want the western world to shun technology and live like the Amish.

current CO2 levels are 392 ppm and rising. greenland is now rising out of the sea at a rate of 1 inch per year and accelerating. the antarctic is next, within about 3 years CO2 levels will reach 400 ppm and the theoretical tipping point will be reached. antarctica wont melt in a hundred years or more but in a decade or so. the right wing 'gott mit uns' crowd is full of shit, as usual, and will lead you to ruin.

Supreme court has ruled CO2 is a pollutant. This is a tragedy as we all, as animals, emit CO2 and will be targeted eventually. This is the ultimate ploy behind this innocent "save the world" routine. Make no mistake, you and i are the enemy.

@rosieregata Please don't use the word 'skeptic' in this context. skeptics are people who weigh the evidence for and against certain claims with as little bias as humanly possible. People who shrug off mountains of evidence as 'unconvincing' aren't skeptics, they are denialists.

@SteveWrathall They Cling and Cling, but the facts would make them get "Off Gore Wagon" and lose all the Liberal friends.
Well Well I guess rather be popular than Right.

awg is a fraud

IPCC is working for the UN, the UN is working for a global government, the GW myth is being used to help usher in a global government. This is all I need to know as far as the IPCC is concerned. Throw in the fudged data, scientist quitting because of Climategate and the unwillingness for the GW supporters to even debate this. It shows loud and clear that this is a fraud....sorry that you are too dumb to figure it out. Oh, there has been a 12 year cooling period, THINK.

You haven't actually even looked at the table of contents of the IPCC report have you. There's a whole section of undisputed information on the Himilayan Glaciers, and what is almost a throw-away line which is at fault.
Mainstream media will squash and ridicule anything which challenges the values which are a precondition to their world view. And that's a scientific fact - see the recent article on New Scientist.
This has already been debated, over the last 150 years. Go read a history book
Yes the Closing comments are nothing to see here Very true as Steve has no facts on long term trend & the 11 year el nino cycle the Ocean has risen 1 Metre in 10 years that significant enough reason for action not debate or misinformation by skeptics

@rosieregata Yes Rosie, a 1m sea level rise in 10 years would be reason for concern. However this rise exists nowhere except in your fertile imagination.

A bit behind the times aren't you Steve. Guess you missed the results of the ANDRILL project, investigating the imminent threat of the WAIS melting. Guess you missed the scientific results showing that Antarctica is now losing mass despite what we thought in 2007. And jumping to the conclusion that any lack of melting in the Antarctic might somehow undermine the consensus view... well logical fallacies are not a good look.

Funny how these warmist threats are always "imminent". Guess they'll continue to be for a long time .
SteveWrathall 2 years ago
All that means is that it hasn't actually happened yet, unlike a whole raft of real observed events which no doubt you'll deny ever happened. Using this simple retort you are able to blinker yourself from any scientific prediction.

What real-world events would these be? The Texas-sized ice shelves that the "Sunday" program in May claimed had broken off Antarctica? See my "Why do people..." vid.
