This is a great video, I guess they thought of everything, the slants line up no matter how the loco's are arranged.

Lake State Railroad in Michigan got a few M420's from KPR I think a couple might still be in storage but all the current road power is now GP40-2's, GP40M-3's, a few GP38m's and an SD40. It's sad to see the wide cab M420's and the few C425's sitting in Saginaw.

that clip along the lake is Kalamalka LAKE THAT IS BETWEEN WINFIELD and VERNON, I know because I live there .

@fmnut Thanks, but man does that ever look like Gaspe. I have only ever seen two videos of CN on the Gaspe as they left in 1998.
Another question, the clip at 0:26, is that entering the town of Gaspe? It sure looks like it with the mountains (Forillon National Park) in the background across the water (Gaspe Bay)

@tjmfishing That's Swan Lake along the Okanagan highway heading south between Armstrong and Vernon.

MLWs everywhere. I love it. That Bombardier HR616 was a real treat though. There weren't too many of those built, and they didn't last too long. I think they were around for maybe 10 years before CN side-lined them. I wonder if any were preserved somewhere?

@CRQ5508 That's not an HR616, it's an HR412. There are a few left about on some shortlines. The Lake State Ry. in Michigan got the one from KPR, but it is out of service now, as are all their Alco/MLW units.

@fmnut @fmnut I mean at 3:40 for example, that was a trio of HR616s. I know there are quite a few HR412s still around, but I was referring to the draper-taper HR616s. There are a few other clips with them in here as well.

@CRQ5508 Sorry, I forgot the CN HR616's were on this video. There were some located at a loco dealer in the midwest (NRE??) a few years ago, but I think they all were cut up after being stripped for parts.
